Football returned to the University of Alabama campus Friday when the Crimson Tide opened fall practice with two split-roster sessions at the Sewell-Thomas Fields. The majority of veteran players worked out in the middle of the day as usual, while the freshmen were broken in during a less-harsh twilight session.
