Bama's O-Line so far this spring....

First Team;

RT - D.J. Fluker
RG - Barrett Jones
Center - William Vlachos
LG - Chance Warmack
LT - Alfred McCullough

Second Team;

RT - Austin Shepherd
RG - John Michael Boswell
Center - Kellen Williams
LG - Anthony Steen
LT - Aaron Douglas

The BEST news so far from Spring Practice is .....

It's not Trent Richardson, Freshman phenom Dee Hart, Quinton Dial, Mark Barron, Jesse Williams, etc....

My pick for the BEST SPRING PRACTICE NEWS so far is;

Dont'a Hightower is fast, furious and ready to lead the Crimson Tide defense the way many always believed he would.

Introducing JC Transfer - DL Quinton Dial

Ht:6'6"
Wt:315 lbs
Bench Max:400
Squat Max:535

- Dial will have three calendar years to play two seasons at Alabama.

An understatement to say Quinton Dial is a big guy. At 6-5, 310 lbs. he's an ominous presence on the defensive line with his ability to stuff the run, dominant an opposing defender, or sneak inside for a sack. - Scout.com

DL Jesse Williams! Soon to be a household name for the Bama-Nation

Introducing - Jesse Williams, a 6'4", 330-pound monster defensive lineman from Brisbane, Australia. He is a transfer from Arizona Western College and was ranked No. 2 in the Rivals.com JUCO Top 50.

- Bench Max: 520

- He does have three years to play his final two years of eligibility

- Williams' has emerged as an ideal 3-4 two-gap nose who can occupy blockers and clog up running lanes in the SEC.

- Williams' brute strength, quickness to jump on top of blockers at the snap, upper body strength, anchor strength, shed ability and range will allow him to seamlessly fit and transition into the defense.

2011 Preseason All-America Team (Bama Edition)

1st Team
- Barrett Jones
- Mark Barron

2nd Team
- Robert Lester
- Trent Richardson

Honorable Mention
- Dont'a Hightower
- William Vlachos

Trent is Ready to Roll !!

Trent Richardson last year (Never 100% Healthy);
- Tore ligaments in his foot in the opener against San Jose State.
- In the LSU game, Richardson tore his abdominal muscle and also sprained the MCL.

- Trent averaged 6.2 yards per carry, 63.6 YPG and led all Alabama running backs with 23 catches.
- Trent finished 2nd in the SEC in all-purpose yards, averaging 145.4 YPG.

Trent is healthy and ready to Roll. Stronger, Faster and now THE #1 Back for the Tide! Look out SEC !! RTR

Tide's Richardson takes center stage
