Former Alabama receiver Tyrone Prothro will take part in Saturday's Summer Commencement ceremony at Coleman Coliseum, according to UA media relations.
Prothro, a former all-SEC receiver whose career was ended tragically by a leg injury in the fourth quarter of a 2005 victory over Florida, is graduating from the College of Human Environmental Sciences.
He remained in school at Alabama, though he was not able to recover enough to continue as a football player.
Also graduating at 9 a.m. Saturday: Tide starting quarterback John Parker Wilson and all-conference safety Rashad Johnson.
