Glen Coffee rushed 11 times for 97 yards, while Mark Ingram ran for 51 yards and two scores on nine attempts for the Crimson Tide (3-0) in the first ever meeting between the schools on the gridiron. Julio Jones caught five passes for 66 yards and a touchdown to help Alabama stay undefeated before it opens its SEC schedule next weekend at Arkansas. David Wolke went 14-for-25 passing for 116 yards and a touchdown in his first start, while Tristan Jones caught that TD pass for the Hilltoppers (1-2). Bobby Rainey was the leading rusher for Western Kentucky with 11 yards on four attempts.
