Cody's Weight?

With noseguard Terrence Cody trying to lose weight in the offseason to be a third-down player, Saban said the 354-pounder has "come close" to meeting some offseason goals set by the UA staff.

"If we were playing a game today he wouldn't play on third down," Saban said. "... He's come close [to goals]. We're going to continue to help him through camp so that he has an opportunity to achieve those goals."
