Chris Walsh, BOL: FIU is better than most people think, but just doesn't match up that well with the Tide. Expect a little bit of a letdown from the Tide, but nothing like last year's game against Tulane.
Prediction: Alabama 38, FIU 10.
Travis Reier, BOL: The next few weeks offer the opportunity to fine tune the offense before jumping into conference play. Games with FIU and North Texas will also tell us how much this team will depend on newcomers.
Prediction: Alabama 41, FIU10.
T.G. Paschal, BOL: The offense will really show its potential and put alot of points on the board. Then the backups will come in and do the same. The Crimson Tide come off a big win and get another one over the Panthers.
Prediction: Alabama 56, FIU 3.
dbrothaman, BOL Round Table Crimson Team: Alabama made a lot of mistakes against Virginia Tech. I believe the mistakes will be corrected this week and the backups will be playing before the first half is over. No letdown this week.
Prediction: Alabama 45, FIU 6.
UAphi, BOL Round Table White Team: Mark Ingram will have a big game on the ground and the offensive line will gel. Bryant-Denny will also be rocking for the first home game with the new sound system. Roll Tide!
