It was a scary sight Saturday, late in the first quarter, to see Hightower flat on his back, clutching his left knee.
He had to be helped from the field and carted to the locker room.
He wouldn’t return to the game.
He would return to the sideline, but on crutches, to await an MRI today.
"The initial prognosis," Saban said, "is not good."
